Economics

Monday – NO SCHOOL.

Tuesday – Economics Review Worksheet. Using their packets, students will complete the review worksheet, which reviews the six units we have learned about so far.

Wednesday – Law of Supply. PowerPoint Presentation on Laws of Supply. Students will listen, read slides, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.

Thursday – Law of Supply (Continued). PowerPoint Presentation on Laws of Supply. Students will listen, read slides, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.

Friday – Monopolies. PowerPoint Presentation on Monopolies. Students will listen, read slides, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.


High School English

Monday – NO SCHOOL.

Tuesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. Could you ever be a vegetarian? Why or why not? Vocabulary List #5. Students will receive Vocabulary List #5 and class will review. Vocabulary Sentences. Students will write each of the vocabulary words (from Vocabulary List #5) in a sentence with context clues demonstrating their understanding of the vocabulary term.

Wednesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. Write about a time when someone helped you? How did you feel afterwards? FSA Writing Practice Introduction Paragraph Activity. Students will complete the activity on PowerPoint slides and corresponding handout.

Thursday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. If you could live inside any video game, which would you choose? Why? Sentence Diagrams #1. Class will complete the first half of the worksheet together and the students will complete the second half independently.

Friday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. Explain your dream job and the steps you need to take to achieve that goal. Vocabulary Quiz #5. Quiz on Vocabulary List #5.


8th Grade English

Monday – NO SCHOOL.

Tuesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. Could you ever be a vegetarian? Why or why not? Midway Character Interview. Using the worksheet provided, students will create a transcript of an interview with one of the five selected characters (Ralph, Jack, Piggy, Roger, or Simon) from Lord of the Flies.

Wednesday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. Write about a time when someone helped you? How did you feel afterwards? FSA Writing Practice Introduction Paragraph Activity. Students will complete the activity on PowerPoint slides and corresponding handout.

Thursday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. If you could live inside any video game, which would you choose? Why? Lord of the Flies Reading. Students will read chapters 8 & 9 in the Lord of the Flies book.

Homework: Students must read through chapter 9 in Lord of the Flies by Friday.

Friday – Seven Minute Writing Prompt. Explain your dream job and the steps you need to take to achieve that goal. Lord of the Flies Quiz. Quiz on chapters 8 & 9 in Lord of the Flies.


8th Grade American History

Monday – NO SCHOOL

Tuesday – Massachusetts Bay. PowerPoint Presentation on the Massachusetts Bay colony. Students will listen, read slides, watch video clips, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.

Wednesday – Massachusetts Bay (Continued). PowerPoint Presentation on the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Students will listen, read slides, watch video clips, answer teacher-directed questions, participate in class discussions, and answer questions on PowerPoint slides.

Thursday – Brain Bowl Review. Review game and study activity for the Massachusetts Bay colony unit. Students are expected to listen, answer questions on PowerPoint slides, and participate with their team.

Friday – Massachusetts Bay Test. Test on the Massachusetts Bay colony unit.
