WEEK OF MAY 6, 2024

FAST ELA this week.  (Mon. – 7th grade; Tues – 9/10; Wed – 8th grade; Thurs. – 6th grade)

Next Sunday is Mother’s Day!

Period 1:  English HSTo Kill a Mockingbird (novel).  Monday:  Work on final exam assignment.  Tues-Thurs.  We will be watching and discussing the movie To Kill a Mockingbird. An assignment for the movie will be given.  FRIDAY:  Finals are due (essays turned in and presentations given).

Period 2:  Reading/Literature/Film.  This week we will finish the movie posters and have vocabulary work and a spelling bee on Friday.

Period 3:  ELA 6th Grade.  Monday: “The Wizard of Oz” vocabulary work (handout). TUES – FRI:  We will be reading “The Wizard of Oz” aloud and discussing it.  Participation and discussion will be graded.

Period 4:  Political Science.  MONDAY: written handout assignment individual. A current event presentation is due TUESDAY. Wednesday through Friday we will be watching and discussing the movie All the President’s Men.

Period 5:   STUDY HALL – 8th grade.  This period is intended to offer additional time to complete assignments in all classes, absentee work, and afford help in 8th grade ELA.  Come prepared to work and study.  Grades are based upon dedication to study and behavior standards.

Period 6:  Creative Writing (no class Wednesdays).  Written handout assignment due on Friday.
